Welcoming a new baby into your life is something to be celebrated and of course, documented. With each family milestone session, we do just that, capture this special moment in a family’s life. This adorable milestone session at my clients beautiful home in Brooklyn, NY warms my heart each time I look back at these photos. There is so much love and joy and I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite photos from their in-home milestone family session in New York City.
Becoming a big brother is a pretty big deal and no one was more excited to welcome his little brother into the world than this little guy. I was so excited to capture this wonderful family’s newborn session in their home in Brooklyn, NY. Their bedroom was the perfect place to start their session, the lighting was just right. I’m not sure how we got so many smiles out of the little one but so happy I was able to capture so many of them. Can we talk about the cutest brother photos ever? I’m excited to share a few of my favorite images from the newborn photos.
Located on the edge of the Hamptons and in the heart of Westhampton, the Westhampton Country Club is one of the best wedding venues on Long Island. Westhampton is a quieter part of the Hamptons and has some of the best beaches, food, and venues in New York which is exactly why K+C fell in love with the location. The Bride spent many summers at her grandparent’s home in Westhampton and brought her soon-to-be husband out there many times while they were dating and falling in love. When it was time to pick a location for their Fall wedding, they had a clear immediate winner, the Westhampton Country Club. With the lush green lawn, the rolling hills, and the grand ballroom, it was an easy yes for them. Planned by Cristina Capone helped bring their coastal vision to life with her wedding planning and design team. The bride wore one of Carolina Herrera’s last wedding dresses from their Bridal collection which is something she will always cherish. The couple were married at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church which was conveniently located right across the street from the venue. I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite images from their incredible wedding celebration. Enjoy!
It’s always the right time to take photos of your family and milestone sessions are the perfect mix of photos and fun. They are short and sweet by design and allow for older kids to be themselves. I absolutely love milestone sessions for this very reason and so do my families just like this sweet party of five who live on Long Island, New York. It was our second milestone session on the water near their home and the lighting was absolutely perfect. A walk along the dock, playing near the tall grass, and even going out on the bay to take a few action shots. I’m thrilled to share a few of my favorite photos from this family milestone session.
As much as you try to prepare, sometimes the weather gets the best of you but it’s how you deal with it on your wedding day that truly shows who you are as a couple. It called for non-stop rain on the day of G+S’s wedding at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. We made plans to make the best of a wet situation. We did their first look inside the bride’s parents’ home, which turned out gorgeous, and by the time the ceremony at Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church, the rain let up and we were able to take a few bridal party photos outside and on the beach at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. With the help of planning and wedding coordination from The Wedding Sitter, Kim helped keep the couple happy and the day moving effortlessly as we traveled from venue to venue. Despite the rain, it was a magical wedding day filled with so much love and happiness, you would never know it was a soggy day in the Hamptons.
