When you decide to host your wedding weekend at the end of the world (a.k.a. Montauk) you take a bit of a gamble with the weather. You hope for a perfect bluebird day with bright skies and lots of sun, and even if it does decide to rain, you embrace it and make incredible memories. That's what happened with Ashley and Brandon’s wedding at Gurney’s Montauk Seawater and Spa. The day called for rain, held off, and then right as the Bride was about to walk down the aisle, it started to rain. Guest were immediately covered with blue and clear umbrellas and the wedding party embraced the rain as they walked down the aisle on the open-air spa deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It rained for the entire ceremony and once they were pronounced husband and wife, it stopped and the entire wedding party cheered. The day was effortlessly coordinated by Lovely Indeed Events and the Spa Deck Tented reception was a mixture of blue and white linens, rattan accents, and lots and lots of florals. The hanging floral arrangement above the white dance floor was the centerpiece of the room. And can we talk about a dance party? The 45 Riots Band had everyone on their feet the entire wedding reception and took guests to the turtle room for the after-party. One of the best parts of being a New York Wedding Photographer is being able to document the lives of your couples who in turn become family. Ashley and Brandon are two of the kindest, sweetest, and most thoughtful couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I also captured her sister’s wedding a few years prior which made it even more special. It was an incredible wedding at Gurney’s Montauk Seawater Resort and Spa and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from their wedding day.
Canoe Place Inn & Cottages Wedding Photos
The weather called for rain all day but it quickly changed into perfect blue-grey skies which gave us the perfect backdrop for Emily and Peter’s wedding at Canoe Place Inn and Cottages in Hampton Bays, NY. The modern, fun, and beachy aesthetic of Canoe Place Inn was the perfect location to celebrate their marriage. The couple got engaged at Cooper’s Beach which is about 15 minutes from the wedding venue so it was really meaningful for them to revisit the beach for their wedding photos. Emily looked radiant in her Sareh Nouri wedding dress with applique white flowers and a cascading veil with a floral border. In honoring their Greek Orthodox traditions, they had their ceremony at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary located in Southampton, NY. I love the exchanging of the wedding crowns, walking around the altar, and declaring your love for your faith and spouse in such a beautiful church. Emily and Peter chose a palette of blue, whites, and hints of pink for their wedding decor, and Effortless Events, who’s based in Chicago, brought their vision to life at Canoe Place Inn and Cottages. Once the party officially kicked off, I don’t think anyone sat down at their seats till the party was over. One of the most fun parts of the evening was dancing the traditional money dance where everyone dances in a circle and throws money at the newlyweds to wish them luck. It was so much fun and I’m so honored to be part of their incredible wedding weekend. Here are a few of my favorite images from their beautiful wedding day!

A Tented Wedding in East Hampton, NY
When your childhood dream is to get married at your family’s summer home in The Hamptons, you can only imagine how magical it will turn out when the day finally arrives. For B and Z’s wedding last Fall in East Hampton, it was truly an incredible celebration and it was an honor to be part of their wedding day out east. Classic Events NYC planned and designed a perfect wedding day for the couple at the bride’s family home in East Hampton, NY. They put up a classic white sailcloth tent on the property and created an intimate ceremony setup adjacent to the pool. Cocktail hour was held in the sprawling backyard before guests were asked to enter the glowing tent under the twinkle lights strung underneath. The bride wore an elegant wedding dress from Amsale and decided to wear her mother’s heirloom, and showstopping, diamond necklace that hung down her back. B wanted to visit East Hampton’s Main Beach for their bride and groom portraits. We played on the beach before heading back to the property for their outdoor wedding ceremony to begin. The aisle was lined with shades of blue hydrangeas, the Bride’s favorite, which were also hand-painted on her custom wedding shoes. The evening festivities were magical and before the night ended, guests were invited to join the happy couple back on the beach for a bonfire and s’mores. Excited to share a few of my favorite images including some of favorite my drone photographs from their wedding day. The view from above was breathtaking!

Sebonack Golf Club Wedding Photos in The Hamptons
The one thing about weddings that is never guaranteed is the weather, and how you decide to handle it, will truly make or break your wedding day. Last Fall, Elizabeth and Danny’s wedding at Sebonack Golf Course was a beautiful celebration despite the on and off again rainy weather throughout the day. However, the couple didn’t let it damper their celebration - the party must go on! Sag Harbor Florist created an incredible floral design with pops of blue, whites, and greens throughout their entire wedding day. Delicate bouquets, to sprawling florals decorated the reception tables. Their wedding planner, Kim from The Wedding Sitter, made sure the couple moved seamlessly from space to space and kept the day stress-free! Liz and Danny said their vows inside Sebonack before moving into the clear top tent that was covered with dazzling twinkle lights creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Atomic Funk Project rocked the night away and no one was sitting down once the music got started! It was a magical day and so honored to have been able to be part of it. Excited to share a few photos that share the joy, love, and laughter between Liz and Danny and everyone who loves them so much.

A Summer Wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns
On a hot and sunny summer day, amidst the lush garden of Blue Hill Stone Barns, love painted the scene in vibrant hues. Laura and Jon are foodies at heart and wanted their wedding to be gorgeous but also a gastronomic affair and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown, NY was their dream location to celebrate their wedding. They shared a private first look outside the iconic barn in the garden before their beloved dog joined them for a few photos by a sea of hydrangeas. The happy couple exchanged vows, surrounded by their closest family and friends under the pergola as a pop-up thunderstorm rolled through right as the ceremony was about to begin. Rebecca Grace Events and her incredible team made a quick switch to their plan b space and didn’t miss a beat. As the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow over the landscape, guests celebrated with laughter, clinking glasses, and delicious farm-to-table cuisine. It was a magical evening with lots of love and laughter throughout the entire day. I’m honored to have been able to capture this incredible moment in their lives.
