Martha's Vineyard Wedding at Edgartown Yacht Club

If you have ever spent any time on Martha’s Vineyard, you already know how special it is. I had the pleasure of being part of Courteney and William’s wedding weekend and it was simply incredible.

The Bride and Groom both grew up spending the Summer in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard. William lived across the street from Courteney’s best friend and that’s how they met. After dating long distance for several years, William proposed in Jackson Hole and had her whole family waiting to celebrate the happy news. They decided to get married where it all began, back in Martha’s Vineyard at the Edgartown Yacht Club.

From the couple's dog, Tugboat being featured in their invitations from Happy Menocal, and the Tugboat-inspired groom’s cake, to driving off in William’s grandfather's vintage Mercedes, to their nautical-inspired blue & white details, I’m honored to have been part of their wedding weekend celebrations. I’m so grateful that the incredible wedding planners from Plan It Martha’s Vineyard helped make their wedding day an absolute dream.

Here are some of my favorite photos from their magical day.

Tented Summer Wedding at Fairview Farm in The Hamptons

On a perfect Spring day in Bridgehampton, Ksenia and Richard celebrated their wedding under a white sailcloth tent overlooking the water with their closest family and friends. With the meticulous planning of Michelle Elaine Weddings, they created a truly unique and breathtaking wedding that delighted and entertained their guests alike. Every detail reflected the couple’s style and their shared love of the arts.

The day started off with the Bride getting ready in one of the suites at Topping Rose House before sharing their private first look inside the garden. Ksenia’s bouquet was a mix of hydrangeas, dahlias, garden roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, and sweet pea, accented with seasonal greenery which was also seen throughout their entire floral decor created by Designs by Ahn.

As soon as the dance floor was open, the couple & their guests danced under the bistro lights that were strung under the Sperry Tent until the very end of their wedding reception. I’m so thrilled to have been part of their incredible wedding day and honored they were also featured on BRIDES. Here are a few of my favorite photos from their special day.

Bonnet Island Estate Wedding with Modern Kicks Event Planning

When you love the beach, the ocean, and the Summer breeze as much as Nicole and Brett do, you bring as much of as you can into your wedding day. The Bride and Groom got married at the stunning Bonnet Island Estate in New Jersey on one of the most perfect Summer days you could imagine. They worked with Bethany from Modern Kicks Event Planning to plan, design, and execute their perfect wedding day!

The couple love their animals and wanted to include them as much as they could so their dog JJ was their official ring bearer and Erin Braun Design created custom stamps for their stunning ocean inspired wedding invitation suite. Ivie Joy Flowers created an incredible archway inside the white chapel and decorated the fireplace with tons of greenery with pops of blue and white flowers to coordinate with the couples wedding decor.

It was an emotional wedding ceremony that brought everyone inside the chapel to tears. When everyone knows you waited to for your soulmate, they all have a stake in the game. I absolutely LOVED being part of their gorgeous wedding day and thrilled to be part of their lives. I cannot wait to see what amazing moments happen next!! xo

Tulum and Cancun Mexico Travel Photos

We traveled to Tulum and Cancun Mexico earlier this year. It seems like a lifetime ago but it was only in March. I've never been to Tulum before so it was so lovely to visit this quiet oasis in Mexico. We stayed at the Playa Paraiso Beach Club in Tulum which was exactly what we had hoped for. A small bungalow walking distance to the clear blue ocean. We did have a bit of a seaweed problem on the beach that hindered us from truly enjoying the ocean but we were already going up to Cancun so it wasn't too much of a bummer. In Cancun, we stayed at the Westin Lagunamar which was our second visit to the same hotel. It was so funny because we knew our way around and visited many of the same restaurants we did years ago. However, this time, we were with our daughter Tilly, which made it even more fun & memorable. Can't wait to get our toes back in the sand! xo

The White Elephant Hotel Nantucket Wedding Photos

Their classic and elegant, nautical themed wedding was inspired by the happy couple's love of one of the most beautiful islands in the north east, Nantucket. Meg and Charles spend their summers the island and it was the only place they wanted to celebrate their marriage. The weather leading up to the festivities was dismal as Hurricane Joaquin and a Nor'easter were both heading up the coast. The ferries were beginning to get cancelled the day before, flights were delayed and figuring out how to get to the island we becoming a real challenge for guests and vendors.

However, on Saturday morning, the rain stopped, a little sun peeked through the clouds and the day went on with only minor glitches. Meg wore a gorgeous lace wedding dress by Pronovias and her mother's pearl bracelet. Charles and the groomsmen wore ties from Vineyard Vines and fun mix of unexpected colored socks. They were married at the lovely Our Lady of Isle Church in town and celebrated at the gorgeous White Elephant Hotel along the water. We visited the Cru restaurant on the wharf and took over the back room for their bridal party portraits since we couldn't photograph them outside. Being able to create several pairings in a small space is key to making their photos look amazing and every single person in their bridal party was amazing!

As we walked with the Bride and Groom through town, we stopped at the famous Compass Rose before I found the cutest little nook with hanging string lights and ivy along the walls. It felt like italy in Nantucket. Meg's sister and Charles' brother gave memorable speeches that had everyone, especially the bride and groom, shuffling between laughter and tears. It was one of the most touching ceremonies and celebrations I was able to photograph. Thank you so much for allowing me to document your wonderful wedding day!
