Lavender and Gold inspiration styled shoot at Brooklyn Winery

A soft palette of gold, lavender and purple are what make this organic styled shoot at the Brooklyn Winery so romantic. Last year, I collaborated with the talented ladies of REVEL and the amazing Michelle Edgemont at the stunning Brooklyn Winery (one of my all time favorite wedding venue's!). Lindsey created an intricate display of hanging gold painted maple leaves that floated just above our dining table. Michelle designed a gorgeous wedding bouquet with a mix of purple, gold and hints of green, wrapped in a delicate purple velvet ribbon. The table center pieces were displayed in gold vases that were lightly dimpled for texture. The silverware was wrapped in purple ribbon and each place setting had a twig of rosemary for color. The soft mix of colors created a dreamy tablescape that anyone could create for their own wedding day. I absolutely love the rock candy that melted inside the champagne flutes! This is one of my favorite styled shoots I've been lucky enough to be apart of. Thank you ladies for asking me to join you and I'm so delighted that our shoot was featured on Style Me Pretty . Enjoy!

Montreal Travel Photography. Destination Wedding Photographer

We visited Montreal in August for a friends destination wedding. I brought along my Contax 645 to take our vacation photos. I haven't been to Montreal since I was very young so I was seeing this beautiful city for the first time. I loved Montreal and getting to speak the very little (and poor!) french that I know. Thanks Montreal for having us and putting up with my terrible accent. Merci Beaucoup!!

NYC Central Park Conservatory Garden Engagement Session

Luminous light, pops of pink and the sweetest couple make for a gorgeous engagement session in new york city. We visited the Conservatory Gardens at Central Park on one of the last great days of the Summer. The lawns were a lush green and the flowers were in full bloom. Claire & Adam visited the gardens on one of their very first dates so it was special and meaningful location for their engagement session. They are one of the sweetest, kindest and most thoughtful couples I have the pleasure of working with and I'm so excited for their vineyard wedding next year! Enjoy!!

St. Louis Travel Photography. Destination Wedding Photographer

This summer we did a lot of traveling for weddings. I visited Nashville, St. Louis and Montreal for the first time which was so exciting! Before heading to the Lake, we stayed in St. Louis for a few days to do a bit of exploring. The Gateway Arch is by far one of my favorite things on the planet. I was in complete awe of its beauty and terrified once we got to the top. Seriously, it's surreal! We had breakfast at Winslow's Home, went paddle boating in Forest Park before heading to the Cardinals baseball game where I caught a foul ball!! On our last day, we stopped by The Pulitzer Foundation to check out the building and Richard Serra sculpture. While we were driving around, I fell in love with all the vintage parking signs and made my husband pull over so I could photograph them. Our last stop in St. Louis was the breathtaking Abby Churchy Church. It was one of the most gorgeous churches I have ever been in and made of concrete. Happy Travels!
