The Green Building Wedding Photos in Brooklyn

On a perfect day in Brooklyn, two college sweethearts got married in front of their closest family and friends. The bright blue skies started off their wedding day on the right note as Luisa got ready at the new 1 Hotel at the foot of Brooklyn Bridge Park. It has breathtaking sweeping views of the New York City skyline and Brooklyn Bridge. The Brides sisters gifted Luisa a stunning pair of Bella Belle shoes and commissioned an artist to hand paint a bottle of Veuve Clicquot with meaningful locations to the couple including where they got engaged.

The groom waited patiently in front of The River Cafe garden to exchange their first look. This location is very special to the couple because it’s where Rich asked Luisa to be his wife! We visited the iconic DUMBO waterfront for their bride and groom photos. We visited St. Anne’s Warehouse, Jane’s Carousel, and stood in front of the Brooklyn Bridge. Their bridal party arrived and we took their photos by the beautiful brick openings at St. Anne’s Warehouse.

The couple got married at an intimate wedding ceremony at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Cobble Hill before heading over to The Green Building for their wedding reception. It was the perfect night to enjoy the outside patio for cocktail hour. To celebrate the Brides Mexican heritage, bits of Mexican flare were all over the green building. From the white Papel flags after their wedding ceremony, to strings of flags decorating the cocktail hour space. The couple gifted their guests hand painted Mexican morocco’s designed with their wedding dates. Such a wonderful touch for an incredible couple!

501 Union Wedding Photos with Pink Bowtie Events

On a bright and sunny Summer day in New York City, Hillary and Mike prepared to get married at the stunning William Vale hotel before heading over to 501 Union to exchange their wedding vows and become husband and wife. The William Vale's epic rooftop was the perfect spot their sweet and private first look above the city. Hillary looked radiant in her Blush by Hayley Paige wedding dress and Mike looked dapper in his custom Indochino navy suit. Hillary and Mike decided to have an intimate brunch wedding at 501 Union in Brooklyn with 89 of their closest friends and family.

Their wedding was catered by Haven's Kitchen that included the couples favorite foods, including fried chicken, biscuits and mike's favorite hot sauce. Rye Workshop created a modern, lush, tropical inspired garden inside 501 Union and a jaw dropping cascading bouquet filled with white orchids, king protea, blush bride protea, pink gomphrena, white lily and clematis vines that just kissed the floor. It was incredible!! Their guests were able to create their perfect Ice Cream dessert with the help of Van Leeuwan's Ice Cream Truck parked right in front of the venue.

Rebecca from Pink Bowtie Events coordinated and planned their wedding from concept to completion and it was a spectacular day from start to finish. I'm so beyond honored to get to know Hillary and Mike, photography their perfect wedding day and continue to stay in touch with them throughout the year. 501 Union Wedding Photos with Whimsy Weddings

They day before Michelle and Dejan's wedding at 501 Union in Brooklyn, it down poured in New York City. However, on their wedding day, the rain held off, sun came out and as soon as their wedding ceremony was over, the skies opened up and showered Brooklyn again. Phew, we just made it! Michelle and her bridesmaids got ready at the ever chic Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is one of my favorite hotels for bridal prep because the light, the location and the decor all make for spectacular getting ready photos. The bride wore a delicate lace wedding gown from Monique Lhuillier and blush satin Jimmy Choo shoes.

The Groom got ready with his best man at the couples apartment in Manhattan before meeting us at the hotel. The couple shared their first look by The William Vale hotel, before we headed over to Prospect Park for more wedding photos. The couple hired the amazing team of  Whimsy Weddings to be their wedding planner, coordinator and floral designer. The entire wedding was simply gorgeous! Inside 501 Union, Michelle and Dejan stood under a Chuppah made of gorgeous pink cherry blossoms as they said their vows and became husband and wife. Their dog Nico even made a guest appearance as he walked down the aisle with one of Michelle's bridesmaids - so cute!

The reception started off with a special performance during the couples first dance. The Groom's best man sang for the couple!! To celebrate Dejan's Serbian heritage, they hired a Balkan Brass Band to play after the hora. Everyone danced, laughed and threw money at the couple, wishing them a long and happy marriage! Michelle and Dejan are one of the kindest and funniest couples I've had the pleasure of getting to know. I'm so incredibly honored to have been there with them for their wonderful wedding day! xo
