Prospect Park Engagement Session Photos

Prospect Park is one of my favorite places to take photographs. It's not as crowded as Central Park and it has lots of special spots that are perfect for engagement sessions. I was thrilled when Christianna and Brian chose Prospect Park for their engagement photos. It's a meaningful location to the bride-to-be as her parents grew up in Brooklyn and visited the park daily. She wanted to surprise her family with the photos but ran into her Aunt and Uncle during their session - whoops! Excited to share a few of my favorite photos and can't' wait for their wedding at the Montauk Yacht Club in the Spring. Enjoy! xo

Central Park and SoHo Engagement Session

When you visit Central Park early in the morning, you are almost guaranteed to have the park all to yourself which is why it's the perfect location for your engagement session. Mia and Douglas wanted to visit Central Park and SoHo for their engagement photos so we started early in the park before heading downtown. The happy couple is getting married in California later this year and wanted to take their photos in NYC where they met and fell in love. I'm excited to share a few of my favorite photos from their session and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. I'm thrilled I could be a small part of their big love story! xo

Battery Park City Engagement Photos

September light just might be my favorite light in New York City. The day lasts forever and the light is golden till dusk. I was so excited to photograph Sammie and Tomer for their engagement photos in Battery Park City last Fall. I haven't spent a lot of time downtown so it was fun to explore a different part of the city with one of my favorite engaged couples. Sammie and Tomer are just perfect for each other. They finish each other's sentences, laugh for days and smile from ear to ear when they are with one another. Their love is truly palpable! We took full advantage of the waterfront views along the park and even found a quiet nook to sneak in some dreamy portraits. I am so excited for their wedding at Brooklyn Winery this Spring. It's going to be so much fun!

Classic New York City Wedding Photos at The Rainbow Room, NYC

On the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, you are whisked away with sweeping views of New York City inside the iconic Rainbow Room. The mosaic ceiling above the ceremony space is breathtaking and there are thousands of hanging crystals that line the reception room that make the dance floor sparkle. For Sara and John, this was the perfect NYC venue to celebrate their marriage with among their closest family and friends. The bride wore a fitted lace wedding dress by Amsale and her Mother's diamond bracelet for her something borrowed and old. John and his groomsmen got ready at the Waldorf Astoria just a few blocks away. The soon to be newlyweds, shared their first look underneath 30 Rock's famous Rainbow Room neon sign. We walked around the plaza to for their bridal portraits and were showered with well wished by onlooking tourists exploring the city.

Before they walked down the aisle, Sara and John signed their Ketubah in a private ceremony and the room became overjoyed with excitement. Underneath the chuppah adorned with fresh cherry blossoms, they said their vows and kissed for the first time as husband and wife. For their first dance, the newlyweds surprised their guests with an impromptu breakdance session by the groom. Their guests cheered with delight! Before the evening ended, the bride and groom cut their wedding cake that was designed by Sylvia Weinstock and thanked their guests for being with them on their special day. I'm so honored I could be part of their wedding and capture their cheerful celebration. Congratulations Newlyweds!
