Is it just me or is there nothing sweeter than a newborn baby with their parents? Everyone is just starting to get settled into their new routines (or lack thereof!) and figure out how to navigate this new world as a family of three, four, or even five! I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite photos from my couples in-home lifestyle newborn session at their home in Brooklyn, NY. It was an absolute honor to document their new sweet baby boy and I cannot wait to see him grow up!

Fall Family Photos in Central Park

I have to be honest, when another photographer asks me to take their photos, I get very excited and then a bit nervous. So when one of my very good friends CJ signed up for one of my annual family mini sessions in central park, I was so honored that she asked me to do this for her and her adorable family. We had the most perfect weather for their Fall Family Mini Session with the beautiful golden morning light coming in behind the trees. Even though it was a mini session, we had the best time and her son laughed and played with me the entire time. He warmed up pretty quickly and we got the cutest family session on film! I later found out that this was the first time he actually smiled during their family photos and I’m thrilled I was able to get him to genuinely laugh and play. He’s just the sweetest. I mean, look at his perfect little smile!! Love you CJ!! xo

When my couples become parents, it truly is one of the biggest honors to be asked to capture their newborn session. I absolutely LOVE being part of their lives and watch their family grow year after year. When Sue reached out to let me know, she was expecting a baby boy, I was overjoyed with happiness. It was incredible to spend the morning with the newlyweds and their new son in their home in New York City. I’m excited to share a few of my favorite photos during their lifestyle newborn session. I’m beyond excited to share a few of my favorite images from Neana and Ali’s newborn photos. They welcomed their beautiful baby girl and I’m so honored to have taken her very first photos for her parents to love and treasure forever. It’s a full-circle moment for me from knowing the happy couple from engagement to wedding, maternity, and now newborn. Being a photographer for each and every one of my couples is truly an honor! xo

It’s always an honor to be asked to photograph a newborn session, but it’s even more special when it’s one of your past couples. I was so excited to see Kathleen and Charlie and meet their little lady Grace. What a dream right? She was the best baby during her session and it was great to catch up with my couple.
