East Hampton Point Wedding Photos

Overlooking the waterfront, among their closest family and friends, Millie and Brenden were married on the balcony at East Hampton Point. The couple grew up in the Hamptons and their love of the beach was a big inspiration for their gorgeous wedding day. The Groom's Uncle handmade the driftwood arbor filled with flowers creating the perfect ceremony backdrop. The same Judge that married Brenden's parents, also officiated their wedding which was so special to the happy couple. Millie looked radiant in her Maggie Sottero wedding dress and jewel encrusted belt. She also wore a vintage brooch on her bouquet that her Mother had worn on her wedding dress for her something blue. And how amazing are her custom monogramed Jack Rogers sandals? LOVE!

Millie carefully planned every detail to personalize their day including a custom laurel wreath monogram for their invitations and a vintage map of East Hampton for the envelope liner. Cascading green wreaths covered the reception tables topped with mercury glass votives candles and pops of blush flowers to add a soft romantic feel. Guests enjoyed two signature cocktails, Little Plains Beach, the location where Brenden proposed, and Navy Beach, one of their favorite spots in Montauk throughout the reception. I'm so delighted to share a few of my favorite images from their wedding day and honored to be apart of such a wonderful wedding. Congratulations Newlyweds!! xo

The White Elephant Hotel Nantucket Wedding Photos

Their classic and elegant, nautical themed wedding was inspired by the happy couple's love of one of the most beautiful islands in the north east, Nantucket. Meg and Charles spend their summers the island and it was the only place they wanted to celebrate their marriage. The weather leading up to the festivities was dismal as Hurricane Joaquin and a Nor'easter were both heading up the coast. The ferries were beginning to get cancelled the day before, flights were delayed and figuring out how to get to the island we becoming a real challenge for guests and vendors.

However, on Saturday morning, the rain stopped, a little sun peeked through the clouds and the day went on with only minor glitches. Meg wore a gorgeous lace wedding dress by Pronovias and her mother's pearl bracelet. Charles and the groomsmen wore ties from Vineyard Vines and fun mix of unexpected colored socks. They were married at the lovely Our Lady of Isle Church in town and celebrated at the gorgeous White Elephant Hotel along the water. We visited the Cru restaurant on the wharf and took over the back room for their bridal party portraits since we couldn't photograph them outside. Being able to create several pairings in a small space is key to making their photos look amazing and every single person in their bridal party was amazing!

As we walked with the Bride and Groom through town, we stopped at the famous Compass Rose before I found the cutest little nook with hanging string lights and ivy along the walls. It felt like italy in Nantucket. Meg's sister and Charles' brother gave memorable speeches that had everyone, especially the bride and groom, shuffling between laughter and tears. It was one of the most touching ceremonies and celebrations I was able to photograph. Thank you so much for allowing me to document your wonderful wedding day!

Classic New York City Wedding Photos at The Rainbow Room, NYC

On the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, you are whisked away with sweeping views of New York City inside the iconic Rainbow Room. The mosaic ceiling above the ceremony space is breathtaking and there are thousands of hanging crystals that line the reception room that make the dance floor sparkle. For Sara and John, this was the perfect NYC venue to celebrate their marriage with among their closest family and friends. The bride wore a fitted lace wedding dress by Amsale and her Mother's diamond bracelet for her something borrowed and old. John and his groomsmen got ready at the Waldorf Astoria just a few blocks away. The soon to be newlyweds, shared their first look underneath 30 Rock's famous Rainbow Room neon sign. We walked around the plaza to for their bridal portraits and were showered with well wished by onlooking tourists exploring the city.

Before they walked down the aisle, Sara and John signed their Ketubah in a private ceremony and the room became overjoyed with excitement. Underneath the chuppah adorned with fresh cherry blossoms, they said their vows and kissed for the first time as husband and wife. For their first dance, the newlyweds surprised their guests with an impromptu breakdance session by the groom. Their guests cheered with delight! Before the evening ended, the bride and groom cut their wedding cake that was designed by Sylvia Weinstock and thanked their guests for being with them on their special day. I'm so honored I could be part of their wedding and capture their cheerful celebration. Congratulations Newlyweds!
