Every so often, a little bit of magic happens during a newborn session. The baby is perfectly content and happy all throughout the entire photo shoot. We’re able to easily and effortlessly capture all of the sweet and wonderful new moments as a family of three. This was certainly the case when I visited my client’s beautiful home in Brooklyn for their son’s newborn photo session two weeks after he was born. It was an honor to document the sweetest baby boy with his loving parents.

New York City Maternity Photographer

Springtime in New York City is truly breathtaking. After a usually long and cold winter, the city slowly starts coming back to life. Outdoor seating for cafes comes back, more people are walking on the streets in the new spring clothes, and it seems as though it happens all at once, but the flowers bloom and the color is back in real life. I look forward to my Spring Mini Sessions every year because not only do I get to see my clients year after year, but I also get to meet new couples and families too. I couldn’t wait to share a few of my favorite Maternity Photos from Christine and Jordan’s Spring Session right in the heart of Central Park. We caught the Cherry Blossoms at their peak bloom and with blue skies and the sun shining bright, it was the perfect day to celebrate their upcoming baby girls arrival.

There’s nothing quite like becoming a new mother and father. For months, you prepare, begin to nest, and once the day finally arrives, it is a true blessing. I’m always honored when I’m asked to document a new family’s life together a few weeks after their baby has arrived. Newborn Photography in Jersey City

I know that I shouldn’t play favorites when it comes to my couples but Kelly and Jared are just that, one of my favorite couples that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are kind, thoughtful, and all around wonderful people so when Kelly told me they were going to be parents, I was so excited for them. Not only for them to meet their sweet baby girl but I knew how much photos mean to them as a couple, so I knew I’d be with them for their newborn and milestone sessions. Topping Rose House Wedding Photos

I asked my friends Taylor from Hill Event Co. and Lori from Avaflora if they would be interested in collaborating on a styled shoot at one of my favorite luxury wedding venues in The Hamptons, Topping Rose House. I had a vision of creating images with an elevated feel that would be just for ourselves. No pressure of submitting our images for publication but a way to get our creative juices flowing again after a year without creating. Using a palette of neutral hues of dusty pink, yellows, and nudes to evoke a sense of beauty that we all had been craving. Luckily, they were on board immediately.

We put together an incredible team of wedding vendors to help bring our Hamptons Wedding Inspiration to life at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, NY. Model Paper created a simple invitation suite, L’Fay Bridal loaned us the most incredible lace wedding gown from Berta, and Nine Cakes outdid herself with our incredible sugar flower wedding cake. The flowers look real! Stacie Ford and Nikki Avanzino made our APM model, Brittany into the stunning bride-to-be. Please Be Seated Events provided us with the table rentals and linens. Shira Savada from Shiramisu was our stylist who helped to bring our vision to life and make sure we were telling a cohesive story.

I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite wedding inspiration photos at the incredible Topping Rose House. With the flexibility to have your ceremony outside, outdoor cocktail hour by the pool and intimate reception inside the modern studio, I hope it helps inspire you too.
